KMP I - Kanban System Design

Kanban Management Professional 1 – Kanban System Design

For who:
For anyone who wants to understand the fundamentals of the Kanban method and wants to learn how to apply them.
“We want to improve speed, increase our capability and predictability without sacrificing quality”
“We want to focus on our customers and make them happier”

Learning objectives:

• Design a Kanban system and tickets
• How to evolve experimentally and improve collaboratively 
• The power of the Kanban concepts: Pull, Flow, Balance
• Visualizing the work (design a Kanban board)
• Controlling the Work in Progress (WIP)
• Recognizing different types of work and services
• Prioritizing important but non-time-critical work (what is really important or valuable)
• Measuring and controlling flow (diagrams & charts)
• Making policies to support predictability and customer needs & expectations
• Working with shifting and changing priorities
• Dealing with multitasking and interrupt (disruptive) work
• How to prevent work piling up.
• Create Flow in the system and work, with required information and teams.

Certification

A certificate of completion awarded by the Lean-Kanban University upon completion.
This training is the first step of the two-step journey towards the Kanban Management Professional certification. The KMP 2 completes the Kanban Management Professional (KMP) status requirement

KMP II - Kanban Management

Kanban Management Professional 2 – Kanban Management

For who:
For anyone who wants to help evolving their organization into a learning organization.
“We want to enable change, reduce resistance to change”
“We want to take Kanban further and implement at scale”

Learning objectives:
• Manage your Kanban system on a day to day basis
• How to deal with resistance to change and WIP limits
• The 7 Cadences of Kanban (information flow)
• Dealing with asymmetrical commitment
• An effective and values-based approach to introducing Kanban 
• Manage evolutionary change
• Leading towards a service-oriented organization
• Rollout phases of Kanban initiative

Certification
A certificate of completion awarded by the Lean-Kanban University upon completion.
This training is the 2nd step of the two-step journey towards the Kanban Management Professional certification. The KMP 2 completes the Kanban Management Professional (KMP) status requirement.

Upon completion of KMP 1 and KMP 2 you will be rewarded with a digital KMP certificate linked to a Lean Kanban University website profile and the official KMP digital badge.
